Scout’s General

This is the modern general store in Crested Butte, located at 509 Elk Avenue. We totally remodeled the building while leaving the walls in place. New water, gas, sewer lines and new electric service and wiring, handicap ramp, new parking in back, removed floors, new paint, and change of use has made this building sustainable for another 100 years.

This project meant many meetings with the Town of Crested Butte and many decisions with the goals of adding value, increasing sustainability, while also making sure to invest wisely.
